Jiwon Jun is a multidisciplinary designer and researcher crafting human-centered experiences with cutting-edge technologies. Her practice encompasses interaction design, speculative design, and HCI research.

She is currently a senior UX designer at Autodesk Research and an adjunct professor in the Design MFA program at California College of the Arts. Prior to joining Autodesk, she worked as a research designer at HP Labs for 6+ years and investigated forward-looking concepts related to 3D-Printing and Virtual Reality. Before moving to the SF Bay Area, she earned an MFA degree in Media Design at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and a BFA degree in Visual Communication Design at Kookmin University in South Korea.

Her projects have been featured on Fast Company, Creators Project, BuzzFeed, and ACM Interaction Magazines. Her work has been exhibited at The Museum of Arts and Design, NY, and demonstrated at Symposium on Computational Fabrication 2019 and the Research Through Design Conference 2017. She is a winner of 2016 SXSW Interactive Innovation Award and awardee of 2015 Art Center Graduate Honors Fellowship.
